Cancer Man's Story

I met this gentleman at Trader Joes and was so impressed with his outlook on life. He said he always remembers there is someone else worse off than himself. He has lived a full life and is a retired for greater than thirty years. In this brief video, John describes what has happened to his sense of smell and taste since having cancer.

Mary,

Thank you for sharing this gentleman's outlook with us. This looks like it was an impromptu video, and it is so touching and well done.

Mary, what a great short video! I will use it in class next fall, when I teach about communication, cancer, or self-image.

Hey, Dr. A. This is wonderful. You're such a go-getter. Only you could talk a perfect stranger into appearing in a web video seconds after meeting him in line at the grocery store!
